I love running, it meant everything to me until it all came to a halt. My journey with hip dysplasia and surgery changed my perspective on how I view myself and my purpose.
I have learned that the hardest miles or longest runs aren’t always the ones on the road. They are the ones we run quietly, within ourselves- through uncertainty, setbacks, and the moments that challenge our personal growth.
Through this blog, I share what I have learned about resilience, recovery, and the often overlooked challenges that teen athletes face. I hope this blog provides a space for education, discussion and self-discovery.
